Let's not beat around the bush. The New England Patriots handed Donovan McNabb his ass on Sunday with a 31-10 flogging of the Philadelphia Eagles.
It was fugly. McNabb was doing so poorly that when you tuned in to the later minutes of the game, he was sidelined. This coming from an Eagles defense that is supposidly number 2 in the NFL.
The Patriot's defense was on fire scoring two first half touch-downs stolen from Eagle's offensive turnovers. Tom Brady was also able to complete 30 out of 44 pass attempts. This team simply couldn't be touched.
The Eagles lost Defensive Tackle Paul Grasmanis to a torn Achilles' tendon. He's expected to be gone for the entire season. This is the second player the Eagles have lost to this injury. The first was Defensive End Derrick Burgess who left two weeks ago.
